Green Man Festival commissioned me to design and manufacture the Mountain Stage. 

The brief called for an impressive structure which reflected the 'hand made' aesthetic of the festival and provided an audio-visual surprise at night for the headline acts. 

The design uses 7.5 kilometres of woven satin ribbons on 2x2 timber frames. These are mounted on a scaffolding structure which wraps the stage. 

By night 500m of addressable LED tape illuminate the panels from inside creating a light show which responds the the live music.
